UK-based vacuum cleaner manufacturer Numatic has just announced two new additions to everyone’s favourite family of anthropomorphic vacuum cleaners. These come in the form of two supersized versions of previously available models, and have been dubbed the Henry Home XL and the Henry XL Xtra.
The Henry Home XL offers a large capacity
The Henry Home XL, as its name would suggest, is a larger version of the standard Henry vacuum. And it is significantly larger: with a 15l bin, the Henry Home XL more than doubles the 6l capacity of the standard Henry.
As well as the added capacity, the Henry XL also comes with a wider range of tools and accessories compared to the classic Henry, adding two of the brand’s AiroBrush carpet cleaning tools, a hard floor tool, an extension hose, a flexi crevice tool, a combi floor tool and a multi angle tool to the standard five-piece kit. The Home XL is also listed as having a longer cable than the Henry, with its 12m wire offering a little extra reach compared to the 10m one on the standard model.
The Henry XL Xtra adds extra accessories
Likewise, the Henry XL Xtra is billed as an upgrade to the Henry Xtra. Once again, this beefier model ups the capacity of its smaller sibling, this time from 9l to 15l. Alongside the standard kit, the XL Xtra comes bundled with the Airobrush and Airobrush 140 carpet cleaning tools, a hard floor tool, a flexi crevice tool and a combi floor tool designed to make things simpler for those of you with both carpets and hard floors in the same space.
Of course, until we’ve gotten our hands on these vacuums and thoroughly tested them ourselves, we can’t speak to the cleaning power of either model, or to whether the extra tools and accessories make them worth shelling out for. However, if you’re already a fan of the Henry line and simply want a larger, higher-capacity version of the models already available, then Henry Home XL and Henry XL Xtra should be perfectly suited to your needs.
The two new vacuums are currently exclusively available on the Henry website, with the Henry XL Xtra arriving with a price of £190 and the Henry Home XL launching at £200.
