Cooling options are limited, but the 600T is still a great case with masses of room for even the most powerful of PCs.

The imposing 600T is a huge case from Corsair that has more than enough room inside for even the most demanding system builder. It’s both taller and wider than other midi-towers, so it’s worth checking if it will fit under your desk before ordering. The I/O panel is dominated by an oversized knob, which can change the speed of up to four case fans, but we didn’t notice a huge difference in noise or temperature regardless of the setting we chose. As well as four USB ports, audio in and out jacks and a single FireWire port, there’s also a USB3 port for faster file transfers. It must be plugged into a USB3 port on the motherboard’s rear I/O panel rather than a motherboard header, so doesn’t give you an extra port.
Assembling a PC inside the 600T was incredibly easy, thanks to quick-release side panels and tool-free drive mounting brackets. The entire interior has been painted matt black and the cable management options are almost unparalleled. Regardless of the size of your motherboard, two rows of pre-cut holes should let you hide almost every unsightly wire in a system. Both the front intake and roof-mounted fans are huge 200mm models with white LEDs, a refreshing change of pace from the garish blue we’re used to seeing in enthusiast cases. A single 120mm fan exhausts hot air through the back of the case, but there aren’t any mounts for adding extra fans.
It commands a premium price, but the 600T should please anyone looking to build a tidy system. However, if you don’t need this much room, there are plenty of cheaper alternatives, such as the excellent Fractal Design R3.
