Apple has announced a new iMac for 2019. One day after it revealed its newest iPad Air and iPad mini models, the tech firm has taken us for another ride, unveiling a refreshed iMac for 2019 complete with new specs.

All iMac 2019 models feature the new 8th-generation Intel CPUs, as well as AMD Radeon graphics cards of various sorts. The new iMac models are available to order now from the Apple Store. Prices start at £1,249 for the 21.5in iMac with a 3.6GHz 8th-gen Intel i3 processor, 8GB of RAM and a 1TB hard drive.

If you’d like a 27in model, prices start at £1,749 for the 27in iMac with a 3GHz 8th-gen Intel i5 processor, 8GB of RAM and a 1TB Fusion Drive.

To give you a sense of scale, it’s possible to purchase a 27in iMac with a 3.6GHz 8th-gen Intel i9 processor, AMD Radeon Pro Vega 48 GPU, 64GB of RAM and a 2TB SSD for £4,904.

You can also purchase Final Cut Pro X and Logic Pro X for an additional £300 and £200 respectively.
