Samsung Galaxy Book3 360 Black Friday deal

The Samsung Galaxy Book3 360 isn’t quite as slick as the Book3 Pro 360 as it lacks that machine’s 2.8K Dynamic OLED 2X display, but it still has a large 15.6in Super OLED touchscreen (albeit only with a 1080p resolution) and it still comes with a stylus in the box. However, it has been reduced from its average price of around £966 to a very tempting £679. With a decent configuration that includes a 13th Gen Intel Core i5-1360P processor, 8GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD for storage, and a slim, light 2-in-1 convertible chassis, it’s a hell of a lot of laptop for not much cash.

Asus Chromebook Plus CX34 - front slight angle, open

The Asus Chromebook Plus CX34 is among the first wave of Google’s new “Plus”-designated Chromebooks; these are built to a minimum specification so you know the laptop you’re buying is decent. Despite having only just been released, the Asus Chromebook Plus CX34 has already been reduced by a whopping £160 – from £400 to £240. With a 12th Gen Intel Core i3-1215U processor inside, plus 8GB of RAM and a 128GB SSD, this is an astonishingly good deal.

Asus Vivobook Go 15 at an angle

This laptop is part of Asus’ low-cost “Go” range and it’s currently even cheaper than usual. It comes with a vibrant 1,920 x 1,200 OLED display and it packs a punch, too, with an AMD Ryzen 5 7520U processor, 8GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD inside. With a £150 discount, this is a seriously good deal.

Dell G15 5530 Black Friday deal

Want a gaming laptop for less than £700? Yes, it IS possible with the Dell G15, which comes with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 GPU, ably supported by an Intel Core i5-13450HX CPU. There’s only 8GB of RAM here and 256GB is a small amount of storage for a gaming laptop but you can upgrade both fairly easily after purchase – and for not much money.

Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Ultra, pictured from the front

The Galaxy Book 3 Ultra has among the best displays we’ve ever seen on any laptop, and inside there’s a selection of boutique hardware that will brush aside any task you care to throw at it with a 13th Gen Intel Core i7-13700H CPU and an Nvidia RTX 4050 GPU. At the now reduced price of £1,999 it’s not as overpriced as it once was.

Buy HP ENVY x360 15 Black Friday deal

The current price on the 15.6in Envy x360 is very tempting considering the specification on offer. It comes with a Full HD OLED touchscreen and a 360-degree hinge. There’s a 13th Gen Intel Core i5-1335U CPU inside, backed by 8GB of RAM and a sizeable 512GB SSD, too. For £599, reduced from £1,099, it’s ludicrously good value.

Huawei MateBook X Pro 2023 Black Friday deal

You can always rely on Huawei for a cracking selection of laptop discounts this time of year and 2023 is no different. Its latest flagship machine is is MASSIVE £500 off the regular price of £1,799, which is a stonking bargain on a sleek, powerful ultraportable device. This nets you a laptop with bomb-proof build, a 90Hz 14.2in 3,120 x 2,080 display, a 13th Gen Intel Core i7-1360p processor, 16GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD. It’s a great laptop for silly money.

LG Gram SuperSlim OLED Black Friday deal

The LG Gram SuperLight has a number of things going for it. First up, it’s incredibly light, registering a mere 990g on the scales, despite having a large 15.6in display. Second, that display is a Full HD OLED unit, ensuring vivid colours and deep dark black. And third, it’s now only £999, having been reduced by £600 in the Currys Black Friday sale, and with the average price at Amazon sitting at £1,411, this a solid Black Friday bargain on what is a ludicrously light and practical portable.

Black Friday laptops - Lenovo LOQ 15 AMD stock shot from the front

The Lenovo LOQ series of gaming laptops sit just below the manufacturers’ Legion range and although the build is cheaper, the specifications can be just as impressive. This model comes with a 13th Gen Intel Core i5-13500H CPU, an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 GPU, 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD. For £899 (a reduction of £350), it’s superb value.

HP Pavilion 15 Black Friday deal

If you want a basic laptop you can’t do much better HP’s Pavilion range. Powered by a chipper 8-core AMD Ryzen 7 5700U processor with 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD, this 15.6in laptop has a decent B&O-branded speaker system and a 10Gbits/sec USB-C port, which isn’t always a guarantee at this price. The keyboard comes with a number pad and backlight and HP’s typical all-silver livery makes the Pavilion look smart.

M3 14-inch Apple MacBook Pro

Apple’s latest M3 MacBook Pro laptops have only just been released they’ve already had a price cut over at Amazon. You rarely get a huge deal on Apple laptops, even during Black Friday but given how new these models are, a £130 discount on the 8GB RAM/512B model isn’t bad at all.

For this money, you can expect class-leading battery life, incredible build quality and a top-notch display, not to mention a lovely keyboard and the best touchpad in the business. It’s expensive, but Apple’s MacBook Pro laptops are the cream of the crop.

Acer Predator Helios 300 Black Friday deal

The 2022 Acer Predator Helios 300 is currently on sale for a mere £1,099, which is a massive £800 off the original RRP and despite its age, it’s still a potent performer. For the money, you’re getting an Intel Core i7-12700H, a 150W RTX 3070 GPU, 16GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD. That’s ludicrously good value for money, especially when you also get a 2,560 x 1,440 165Hz display.

Asus Vivobook 14 Black Friday deal

The Asus Vivobook 14 is another laptop that fits our “buy Intel Core i CPUs where possible” mantra. This PC usually sells for around £469 at Amazon, so AO’s price of £379 represents a decent discount and it certainly packs in the specification. It comes with an 11th Gen Intel Core i5-1135G7 CPU, accompanied by 8GB of RAM and an impressively capacious 512GB SSD. Battery life is only rated at six hours and the display is a basic Full HD effort but, otherwise, you’re getting a lot of laptop for your money.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 9 is the best Windows 2-in-1 detachable you can buy. It’s sleek, light and very well made, with a sturdy kickstand built into the tablet and a fabulous display up front. It isn’t cheap but is currently on offer at the Microsoft Store for £899 with a Signature Keyboard thrown in for free. The tablet itself comes with a 12th Gen Core i5 processor, 16GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD, and would normally set you back around £1,294 on its own WITHOUT the keyboard thrown in so this is a fantastic deal.
